So much has been written, debated, analyzed and theorized about it that most film, and especially sci-fi, fans have at least a basic understanding of its hypothetical rules and pitfalls.  ’Looper’ puts an interesting twist on the genre.

Joe is a special kind of assassin.  He terminates people sent back by the mob from 30 years in the future, where time travel has been achieved.  One day, Joe’s new target sent back in time turns out to be…..Joe, his future self.
